LE SSERAFIM Mandu Dumplings (만두)
Why this food?
Korean dumplings stuffed with pork and tofu — pan-fried crispy on the bottom, steamed tender on top. The K-pop idol cooking content staple. Surprisingly easy with wonton wrappers from Walmart.
🇰🇷 K-Culture Tip
만두-making is a shared cultural ritual in Korea — families gather on Seollal (Lunar New Year) morning to make hundreds of dumplings together, everyone seated around the kitchen table. The act of making mandu together is itself a form of bonding. There's a saying: 만두를 함께 빚으면 좋은 일이 생긴다 — making dumplings together brings good fortune.
